Q4 2023 U.S. Android Performance of Top Zombie Games

As the year 2023 drew to a close, the undead-themed gaming category remained a popular escape for players on Android in the United States. Sensor Tower provided us with insightful data on the top zombie games, highlighting downloads, revenue, and active users.

Last War:Survival Game by FirstFun showed a significant upward trend in the fourth quarter. Revenue soared from $27K in the last week of September to a staggering $526K by Christmas. Downloads and weekly active users followed suit, increasing from approximately 3.6K and 8K to 99K and 109K, respectively.

ELECTRONIC ARTS' classic, Plants vs. Zombies™, maintained a steady fan base with downloads peaking at 51K during Christmas week. Weekly active users experienced a rise from 211K to 258K, but revenue remained modest, hovering around $1-2K weekly.

IGG.COM's Doomsday: Last Survivors saw consistent revenue, ending the quarter with $160K in the last week of December. Downloads peaked in early October at 43K, while active users reached a high of 132K in the same month.

The mix of puzzles and apocalypse, Puzzles & Survival by 37GAMES, displayed a strong revenue performance with $798K at the beginning of the quarter, dipping in November, and recovering to $824K by year-end. Downloads saw a high of 31K in the final week of December, and active users showed a gradual increase from 81K to 87K.

Finally, Plants vs. Zombies™ 2, also from ELECTRONIC ARTS, exhibited an upward revenue trend, ending at $28K. The game's downloads and active users peaked in early October at approximately 28K and 155K, respectively.
